Cromlix House
Update; 28th September 2012

As you may be aware, Cromlix House Hotel ceased trading unexpectedly in February 2012. The cessation of trading resulted from a break-down of the arrangement which we had with our landlord, the owner of Cromlix House Hotel.

The landlord took unexpected and swift action in February 2012 which brought to an end the trading business. We wish to make it clear that the series of events leading to closure of the business was a shock to us and took matters out of our hands.

We are not, and will not be in the future, in a position to a) reimburse deposits which were paid by customers prior to the business ceasing to trade, b) make payment of outstanding wages or other employment related payments or c) make any payments to accounts left owing to suppliers.

We are extremely disappointed by the action taken by our landlord; action which was taken without sufficient notice and caused us to close the business without having the opportunity to attend to an orderly run down of our trade.

We very much regret the inconvenience that these circumstances have caused.

On 28 August 2012 the Sheriff at Stirling Sheriff Court appointed Derek Forsyth of Campbell Dallas LLP Interim Liquidator of Cromlix House trading as Shelto Limited.  The appointment followed the presentation of a petition to the Court by a creditor on 2 August 2012.

If you are owed money by the company please contact Derek Forsyth’s office, details of which are given below.  Please quote the reference S3055.
